2023年度ASIA DESIGN PRIZE亚洲设计奖获奖名单公布。我校郑德宏、李月老师带领二年级生（20级产品班）周欣怡、肖奕欢同学凭借为视障群体设计的智能化产品“KAN”脱颖而出，荣获年度 GOLD WINNER（金奖），入选赛事官方线上展出，并被大赛年鉴收录！
这是继“KAN”在2022年斩获K-Design Award金奖之后，再次获得国际大赛认可，荣获金奖！
“KAN”是一款专为独居视障人士设计的家用智能助手。它运用人工智能算法，设有智能语音交互、物品识别、OCR文字识别、盲文便签打印、跟踪提醒等功能，能帮助视障人士获取物品上的文字信息，并及时转化为盲文便签。
The objective is to help visually impaired people live independently and improve their quality of life. Responding to the wake word, Kan's camera recognizes the user and locates accordingly to scan the objects and text on the packaging to a larger extent. Then users can ask it to print the useful info into Braille labels and stick them anywhere needed. KAN also remembers this information and reminds the user when necessary, such as the expiration date. KAN's intuitive form - the fade surfaces and braille bumps - guides the user in touching and prompts them on the position-specific functional modules.
亚洲设计奖始于2016年，是全世界认可的全球性设计大奖，目的在于挖掘亚洲社会优秀的设计。工艺美校师生接连获得国际顶尖设计大奖的认可，体现了学校产品设计教学水平的提升，既着眼于应用实践能力的构建，也注重学生创新能力与研究能力的培养。
